Eileen Younghusband has provided a long overdue account of WAAFs 'behind the scenes' in WWII. I was in the RAF 1952-1959. My heroes were the fighter and bomber crews of WWII. Yes, like many others, I knew what the 'plotters' did, but had no idea that 'filterers' were the vital input. I've just added a heroine to my list of those who saved me from Hitler! This book adds greatly to the history of Britain's struggles in the dark days of WWII.
The book is very well written and the ebooks versions are well formatted. I have read it on a Kindle 3 WiFi and on a PC as Adobe Digital Editions and .pdf. All editions are a pleasure to read.
