I keep re-reading this book! It's an AMAZING plot with realistic and un-realistic characters (they ARE magical after all)! Annie Oldham writes incredible stories, just like The Burn (a perfect novel for those who hate sci-fi! certainly got me, a usual sci-fi hater, to open up more! Good job! Intresting story! 4 stars!).

I really enjoyed this book and didn't want to put it down. It is the story of Neram, a girl who is trying to figure out who she really is and how to improve life for herself and her mother. In the process, she finds a lot of answers, makes friends, and fights to save her people.

This book took me away on an adventure filled with dragons and magic! Great for tween readers and up.
The characters were so well written; I felt like I was in the book, and the characters were my companions.
I loved this book and hope to see a sequel. It makes me want to be half-dragon too!
