I gave this story 5*****s because I LOVE the way this is set up into Parts! The first part is were we are getting introduced to Chloe and the other characters in the book and what and who Chloe is! This is the first type of book set up that I have read and so far I am enjoying it! It puts you into more suspence because you have to wait for part 2 to learn a little more and so on!! I LOVE it!! Thank you Jennifer for an awesome read and I can't wait to read P2!!

The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter Part I
By Jennifer Malone Wright

What if you were awakened in the middle of the night by your mother and told to hide? Voices you hear threaten her and when you come out to try and help you see her killed in front of you. Wouldn’t your life be different from then on? Add to this that you find out your mother wasn’t just that quiet mom on the street and that your legacy was to kill vampires, how would you react? With all this to deal with and face your also learn that your father is a vampire and ordered your mother killed. Read through this beginning and walk through all this with Chole. In this story she realizes that she has to become what she was meant to be, the vampire hunter’s daughter.

The Vampire Hunter's Daughter by Jennifer Malone Wright is the first in a series of short stories. From the beginning of the story, Chloe's life is full of action and fighting. The way the beginning starts off directly to the point and full of action pulled me right in. I was hooked. I started this book an hour ago looking for something to take me away while I had a moment to relax. I must say this was the perfect choice.

Chloe, 14 years old, is pulled out of her sleep and witnesses what no child her age should, her mother murdered right in front of her. She's taken away to her mothers family, a bunch of Vampire Hunters, and now she's out for revenge for the murder of her mother. I give this short story 5 ***** stars. I can't wait to see what happens next.

What an amazing start to “The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter”!!!

Jennifer is a wonderful author and she has created another fantastic story and I love her style of writing.
Part I is the introduction of Chloe who is the main character and “The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter”. She’s going to be an amazing character to follow and get to know. I can’t wait to see her in action against the vampires because her heritage really intrigues me.

This is going to be one interesting series.

I have to admit, I wasn't sure at first if I'd like this book, but as soon as I started read it I couldn't stop! From the very first page you're instantly thrust into the action! Chloe's life is turned upside down, the characters are beautifully written, the plot's great. All around it an absolutely amazing book!

This feels pretty standard for the beginning of a young adult vampire story. The first scene was suspenseful, though I already knew the outcome from the description of the story. The mythology of the vampire hunters (which actually comes from the excerpt for the next part) is cool, but when the two practicing hunters we meet in this part were introduced, I found the characters predictable and I'm pretty sure I know exactly what roles they are to play in the rest of the story. I am curious about Chloe's father and if she will ever get her revenge--or if she'll still want revenge when she finally meets him--but I haven't decided yet whether I'm invested enough to purchase the rest of the parts.

This is a GREAT short vampire book :) A young 14 yr old girl finds out alot about her family. Very sad begin but gets you pumped up at the end for the next book :) She is so pissed and I don't blame her, I would have my father on my hit list as well -.- what a jerk. But it does make you wonder, does her want her because she's his daughter, or does he want her because of what she is? This is a must read :) Can't wait to read part 2 :D

It wasn't bad, if you know nothing of grammar and can get past the constant errors in it. The dialogue needs work and quite a bit of it feels very unnatural and stinted, though some bits are all right. It felt very much like a story being told not shown, and the tense is often confused with the character talking about what is happening before it actually happens.
This was actually recommended to me by a friend when I asked for ideas for books for my ereader, but about the best recomendation I can give it is: it passed a bit of time. It was far from a brilliant read and I am regretting buying all three parts, though I will no doubt read them anyway just because I have bought them.

This story is packed with action from the very first line. Chloe is woken from a dream by her mother only to witness a handful of people barge in and kill her mother. But, before the murders can make off with her, another group appears and kills the murders. Chloe later wakes to find herself in a closed community and is told of her heritage and her importance. It grabs you from the get go and was hard to put down. The story is fast paced and not filled with superfulous details to fill space. Looking forward to the subsequent books in this series. On sale at amazon now for 99 cents. You won't be sorry. ****/ 4.5 stars.

This was a great short story. My only complaing is that it was not longer. Thank goodness there is a part 2, because I can't wait to see what Chloe and Drew's relationship is about. Plus, I need to see her find Trevor. This book is s quick and interesting read. My review ends here because I am going to buy part 2.

This was a very fun story. Because of the length, it was hard to get to know the characters completely, but as a whole, the writing was easy to follow, the story was packed with action, and when it ended, I wanted to read more. This is going to be a great series of short stories.

I read the book a while ago but I didn't like it very much. It was good, that's not the problem though. It was too short and we can't possibly get to know the characters and it was just a bunch of people running around... I also didn't like how from the beginning there was no intro, the book just jump strait into action. It has potential though. If it was a bit longer maybe I would've liked it better.

Hi Anne here, I've had the privilege to get to read and review this amazing short story. The characters are great and fun to like, the little heroine has to face loss and pain and take it in stride if she is to accomplish her ultimate goal of revenge. All the while finding out she's not at all what or who she thought she was. If you wanna know then grab this fabulous story and read it now and wait patiently for the upcoming 2nd installment of The Vampire Hunters Daughter by Jennifer Malone Wright. 5 out of 5 stars from me...
