This collection of seven short story mysteries and seven essays is a nice introduction to Mr. Hockensmiths writing style. All the stories are entertaining and sometimes even outright funny! If you like mysteries you will enjoy the ones presented here, he is known for his holiday themed murder mysteries and the Holmes on the Range book series and both are represented in this collection. For 99 cents, this is a great deal if you are a fan of his. Even the copyright page is entertaining. If you are not a fan yet then I am willing to bet that you will be by the time you are done reading these stories. Give it a try!
