An excellent story, with well developed characters. It isn't often a book will truly draw you in where when the characters hurt you really can almost feel there pain. I highly recomend this book!

Wasn't sure what to make of the story at first since I have no experience reading anything from this author. I read the brief overview, and was very interested in reading the book then got sidetracked along the way. When cleaning out my reader I came across the story again and decided to read it. I was not dissapointed with the story or how it was written/told. It was a book once I picked it up I wasn't able to put it down. Loved it!

This book had me in by the first chapter. I loved the way it started and seemed like it was going to be a light and easy romantic contemporary. As you read further however, Suzan delves into heartbreaking territory with twists and turns until a much anticipated and deserved HEA. Looking forward to more books from Suzan Battah!

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this read when I first began it. By the end however I was hooked and really enjoying the ride. The writing was a little loose and flabby in spots where, if tightened, it could have made the more dramatic scenes pop, and, at times, mid-text POV switches and more telling than showing drew the reader out of the moment. But overall, this was a sweet story with twists and turns and layers enough for the most adventurous reader of romance. Battah creates some powerful scenes in a relationship between two people that she makes neither easy nor cut and dry, electing instead to show the true complexities of modern romance. She allows her characters their nuances and contradictions, and I applaud her for it - for their humanness as portrayed. A solid start, I look forward to reading more from this author!

This book took me into the story as if I was there, I could see and feel the characters struggles and love for each other. It's well written and I connected with Julia as if she is a real person. Good on you Suzan Battah, I am waiting for more novels from this author. Highly recommend if you enjoy romantic comedy with a bit of drama. It's well worth the read.
