Writing

What is your writing process?
Write, write and write some more.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
It probably had something to do with a horse. I was in the second grade.
How do you approach cover design?
Either I use my own photos or I look for applicable pictures in the public domain.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Anything by Robert B. Parker written before he passed. Lawrence Sanders' Mc Nally series. Most anything by Stuart Woods. Anything by James A. Michener and any, mysteries by Andrew M Greeley and Faye Kellerman.
What do you read for pleasure?
Mysteries
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My Nook

Cluttered but I know where everything is.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A lonely woman I once saw.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I read a lot of fiction. One day I read something totally unmemorable except I thought I could do much batter. I did.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Publishing and receiving the monthly check. No actually, it's the nice reviews my work receives.
What do your fans mean to you?
Without fans I wouldn't have an audience and I'd just be wasting paper and ink.
What are you working on next?
A mystery set in Victorian England.
Who are your favorite authors?
Robert B. Parker, Sue Grafton, Carolyn Arnold, Estelle Ryan, most any mystery writer who can weave a good story.
