I primarily read science fiction and fantasy content, whether that be books, online stories, short stories or something else. I'm also very much into reading about various fun facts, history, current events and how things work. Though, a lot of that can get a bit overwhelming, for various reasons, so I do have to moderate myself a lot. There are times where I read a bit too much about current events or social media, and I'm sure plenty know how that goes.

I think it's going on seven to eight years ago, so around 2017/2016(yeah, bit of a cursed year). It was mostly because I realized how difficult it was to find stories and worlds that fit to my very broad but specific tastes. I had so many ideas but nothing really matched them, so I decided I'd put those ideas down myself. And I sucked at the beginning. I was good at essays and writing projects, but that is a whole 'nother beast from fiction writing. There are times I still feel like I suck, but they're less frequent than last year, and the year before. I hear that's pretty normal for writers, and artists in general, though. That's part of why I always encourage people to work at it and start with improving the biggest, most broad issues, then work on the small ones. Many struggle with tenses, so that's often the beginning. Past, present...etc

I grew up in a heavily religious area, very conservative, and it made me a lot more into opposing views. For one, a lot of homophobes, so I tended to really get into writing stories about them being turned gay, or forced to enjoy gay sex, and general straight to gay content. I also fell into a lot of history and mythology, which ended up leading me to the minotaur, which I fell in love with and found super hot. Then werewolves and so on. From there, I kind of just fell in love with anthro creatures and monsters in sexual situations. Usually fucking some homophobe or asshole(literally and figuratively).

I mean, I doubt big publishing houses would want to publish gay incest erotica that involve anything and everything from tentacles, to goo monsters, mind control and whatever other insanity I can cook up. Not to say that I don't also write non-sexual works, as I do. But they are ones I want to try to publish through official channels, full publishing houses, and that means a lot more time, work and failure, honestly. I put all my effort into everything I write, but it takes going above and beyond even that to hope to make an impression.

A mess with far too many notes, movies, paperwork and things I should really just throw away instead of holding onto.

I honestly use my computer for most things. There is so much just at your fingertips, and it's hard not to look and take a deep dive through various online story websites. Admittedly, most of that ends up being sexual in nature. It can take a bit to find things that match my specific tastes, and it's a lot easier to use my computer to track things down, at least for me. So, that's why it tends to be where I read almost all of the digital content I do.

I'm still working on the success part. :P

It has helped a lot with learning to format, gaining a better grasp on cover art, and more appreciation for other authors in this space.

Video games, movies, anime, tv shows/streaming shows, and whatever else I'm struck by in the moment. I tend to play a lot of strategy and tactics games, and I can really lose track of the hours when I get into one.

I look through some promotional content on gayspiralstories, the front page of Smashwords or what's popular on Amazon. I also try to use the search function to find specific works that fit my tastes. Though, that's mostly something I use on Smashwords, as I don't really use Amazon as much.
