What do your fans mean to you?
Fans means everyone and anyone who enjoys my writing, people who can relate to my stories and poetry .
Why Do I Write?
I write because I find it pleasurable, I write because it gives me joy ,putting down what and how I am feeling is a great stress reliever.
What are you working on next?
Working on short stories on Nigerian migrants in the United kingdom
Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite authors are Toni Morrison,Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Hans Christian Andersen, Sidney Sheldon and of course Chinua Achebe.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My main inspiration comes from my Children, motherhood has put a lot of things in perspective for me.
Inspiration is everywhere, Life is a gift ,I believe the rest of my life will be the best of my life,this to me is inspirational.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend my time with my Children and husband, I have three amazing children .
I enjoying watching old movies and collecting quotes.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I browse the internet , check the reviews and sometimes from recommendations of friends.
What is your writing process?
I write my ideas in my little blue book, get on my computer and write the first draft and then a few days later , I review it and make a few tweaks and then I think it is ready.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Effurun,Warri, Delta State , Nigeria.There is a popular adage in warri, which says " warri no dey carry last". Growing up in that town has given me confidence and the tenacity to keep on writing no matter what .
What's the story behind your latest book?
I love poetry and decided to put together a collection of haiku.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing at about thirteen or there about after my dad gave me my first journal.
Describe your desk
My desk is usually organised and clean, everything is where they are meant to be. This way I am to focus on my writing.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I believe everyone has a voice and a story, right now this is the best platform to spread my work.
What is the best advise you have received?
My dad told me that no knowledge is lost, one should never stop educating themselves.Read for knowledge and inspiration , read for pleasure, Whatever you do , at least read one book a year.
