What is your writing process?
From an initial idea write out the first draft. Walking helps to find characters and flesh them out visually and verbally. Bringing some and ends are forever rewritten and the editing in between becomes an extension of your life.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Totally unfashionable now, The Boy Next Door by Enid Blyton but you have to remember that reading was difficult for me and to find abook I could manage and enjoy was a joy.
How do you approach cover design?
Cover designs are not really a problem. If I have no suitable photo material I don't mind purchasing suitable royality free material. I se PS touch to produces cover.
What do you read for pleasure?
Historical factual books.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
IPad
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Giving away books for free.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Perth, Scotland and insight to Scottish Lit influenced my writing.
When did you first start writing?
In my teens rather teen-like.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The book of Ecclesastes ... All is doom but trust in something beyond this pathetic woe.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
No agent would take me on as a viable proposition.

It has provided a platform through which some people out there at least glimpse my work.
