Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Yes. The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe . The story became so real to me. The places your imagination can bring you is beyond words. Once i began reading it became such a joy. The words I am Bored never lasted with me. And to imagine I could write words on paper and take not only my own mind ,but those of others into a world beyond .
How do you approach cover design?
The cover needs to be the story. I never much cared for ones that left you wondering how it even fit.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Jonathan Kellerman Survival Of the Fittest . I love Detective works. I love his style of writing. My mind just falls right in.
Stephen King. I do not have a Favorite . I love them all. Master of Intense blanket covering.
C.S. Lewis The Chronicles of Narnia . What can I say except Genius

Describe your desk
My desk. Well to begin with ,it is very special to me. I lost my Nana back in October of 2013. She was a very special person to my heart. I spent the night in Nana's room , while laying there I looked upon her desk. It is all Black but elegant . It is 4 and half feet tall and 3 ft wide. It has a fold down center where I have my computer . Inside are shelves for my papers and things I may need. The top is Decorated with a Frog statue candle holder. A beautiful cobalt blue hue ceramic center piece my daughter Sam made. Under the drop top I have 2 glass doors which hold a few writing skill books and of course manuscripts of my own.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Milford NH . The town library was walking distance from school. I spent many days there . Mom would pick me up on her way home from work. There really is nothing like the smell of a library. Just as there really is no other way to fully enjoy a story other then holding it in your hands.
When did you first start writing?
When I was a young teenager I began to mingle with Poetry. But of course as a young student writing for English class as well. But I did not become to involved until about three years ago.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I laugh a bit. I have a few in the works all at once. I guess when you sum them all up . It is Life.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
For now it is my path. The Adoption for Spirit needs to be told. It needs to be felt. And finding that one agent that will lead it into production in the light of Published . Well I am impatient, I feel the need to expose Spirit faster.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Still waiting on that . My hopes is ... Well to sell .
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When I can sit back and see what has gone from thought to black and white.

My mind never really shuts off. So if I am in bed and it begins babbling I go with the flow. I spend many hours during the day while everyone is gone to school and work down in my study. I just let the words come through.
