Interview with Matt S. Law

Published 2014-04-06.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I never had a particularly great love of writing. My real passion is in teaching people. I hope through my writing that I can touch many people and help them to add value to their lives.
When did you first start writing?
My earliest writing, not including school assignments, was in the form of comic books. In the fourth grade was when I began weaving an epic, fantasy, graphic novel and began learning to draw.
What's the story behind your first book?
I literally wrote my first book in 15 minutes. I was frustrated with my lack of accomplishments in life as I believe many others are. I always thought that I should write a book but always rationalized that I didn't have the time. I was finally fed up after about twelve years of being busy; so busy that I never even started. I resolved that I would set aside 15 minutes every day to just write. I had no title, no theme, no idea what I was writing about except the vague concept of "success." It was a full two weeks into the process that I finally came up with the title, "It Takes 15 Minutes To Change Your Life."

Time is the most valuable commodity you have. The most valuable commodity that anyone has. But people waste time, kill time, idle their time away. Don't waste any more of your time. Don't even spend any more of your time. Invest your time. Invest a little of your time every day and you can change your life.
