When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I like to read books on spiritual matters, surf the Internet, spend time with my cats, Tiger and Brownie, and watch court programs on television.
Describe your desk
I actually work on the floor. Every thing is on the floor and I have a comfortable pallet while I type or do handwriting.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I did not intend to write a book. However, the emotional impact that the Trayvon Martin killing and the way it was handled had a great impact on me. I wanted to help get justice for Trayvon Martin by researching what happened and by giving him a voice for his defense since he was the one truly on trial.
