What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean the world to me, being able to touch someone's heart with my stories is truly uplifting. I would love to get feedback from any one who takes an interest in my novels.

As I mentioned before the first book is a bit sad as the child endures the wrath of a very cruel and evil entity but if you can read past that you will find it very intriguing.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I have always loved the thrill of the new day as it is always filled with mystery
for you never know what you going to get, who you are going to meet or where you may even end up.
The very thought of being able to inspire others drives me to leap out of bed and grasp all that the day has to offer.
What are you working on next?
My first book is titled 'Hollow woods the Awakening' and I have two others to follow which have taken me years to finish. Hollow woods the Re-awakening will be the next of the trilogy in which I will have formatted to smash words specifications and then all going well with the first novel I will upload the Re-awakening so that others may enjoy all that it has to offer. The second book is set in the 16th to 17th century as she is transformed from child to adult after her awakening bringing forth a new life, one of passion and love with a new found hope.
In the meantime I intend to finish editing the third novel 'The dominion of the Dark' which leads Anaka into the realm of the dead it is truly fascinating and will send daunting chills up your spine. The ghosts that come in and out of her life are filled with intrigue and mystery some will even capture your hearts.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a number of places as we moved around a lot due to my fathers profession but mostly NSW. The moving from place to place inspired my creativity as I have seen a lot of this amazing country the mysteries and wonder that it has to offer. I have had the opportunity to discover and indulge in many different activities ranging from mining at lightening ridge to exploring live volcanos in Papua New Guinea which was one of my fondest memories. The scenery and landscapes of that amazing place are truly breathtaking, and the weird and mysterious culture the people live by were at times frightening and yet very alluring which is what lead me to the path that I have chosen.
When did you first start writing?
I first started to write at a very young age as soon as I grasped the rudiments of the written word I would spend every moment I could sketching anything that took my interest example, watching a spider spin its web and viewing that web at the first hint of dawn to witness the due drops glistening in the sunlight and then writing about it, describing what I saw and how it made me and others feel and react. I loved the glass bottom boat in which we witnessed parts of the Great Barrier Reef. I would paint and sketch that vision and then put into words short stories about what excited me the most.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I have spoken to a number of different people and they all convinced me that this was the way to go. I then looked at the smash words site along with others and found Marks site to be the most appealing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The best thing I love about writing is with the style of writing that I have chosen as there are no real boundaries. I can express my self in a way in which one would not dare to in the real world. I love all the aspects of a fiction novel especially writing about things that do not really happen. it gives me an inner peace for a brief time stepping away from reality and creating something that would inspire and excite others.
Who are your favorite authors?
My favourite authors are JRR Tolkien, Steven King and Anne McCaffrey I find them to be very appealing and I just adore those dragons =]. Mind you I am also partial to the writings of E L James 50 shades of Grey.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes,
It was about the sun shining upon a calm river as we threw the skipping stones across the water and witnessed in my mind what it would be like to swim like the fish do.
Then closing my eyes as I lay back within the lush greenery falling into a deep sleep and dreaming of what it would look like if a ghost were to emerge from within the depths of the water at night feeling their icy presence as they run their fingers down my face offering a feeling of utter loneliness which felt as cold and lifeless as the pond itself.
How do you approach cover design?
I wanted my readers to be absorbed and intrigued with the alluring softness of the images but to
also offer mystery, intrigue with a hint of fear.
The drops of blood were added to reflect the dark side of the story as the main character experiences frightening and horrifying scenarios. The rose was used to depict a new life filled with love, happiness and warmth to take away the pain with its scent, grasping the feel of its velvet soft petals and the want for her life to be as perfectly formed as the rose itself.
The reason I choose to add the child's face three times was to make the reader aware that it is a trilogy and each book
takes you through her three stages of life, from childhood to Adolescence and finally Adulthood.
I used my daughters photo's in PowerPoint and manipulated the images to create that affect.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
The Lord of the Rings - The fellowship of the ring - Its epic!
The Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers and
The Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King..
I love the times of old and the language spoken in that period.
the story is so intriguing to me with the mighty battles, the description used in creating the creatures and fell beasts you can almost see them clearly in your mind when you read it.
Twilight - I love anything to do with mythical creatures and their alluring forms further their furious nature.
Woman are from Venus Men are from Mars - This gave me a better understanding of the Male side of the equation.
What do you read for pleasure?
I Like love stories but tend to move to Horror as a favourite.
I also like stories of True life crimes and find it fascinating what goes on in the mind of a disturbed person
as I then went on to study psychology to further try to understand why people do what they do.

Sharp fangs protruded from within their ghastly faces, their wings resembling a large bat, finishing with sharp nails, and talons at the elbow. Their hair fell in long strands, with the look of black silk, flowing with each turn that they took, and skin as white as snow, concealing a fiery aura burning at the very edge of their forms.
