My stories are based on incidents, people and lovers I have had in the past.
My dreams and fantasies at night are sometimes very vivid and I write them down before I forget.
The locations and names are changed to protect the blushes of the people involved. Sometimes they are fantasies that I had at the time.
Often they are simply memories of past lovers.

My past lovers could probably recognise episodes of our love life but the names and locations have been changed to protect their blushes.
Many of the scenes in the book about the students and the villagers are completely true.
I really wish that my sex life was as debauched as my imagination portrays in spite of my wife's attempts to corrupt me.

Like my mind - it's dirty and very messy

Kindle Voyager is about perfect. Not only does it have a backlight so I can read it in bed without disturbing my wife, boy it also has buttons in the margin so the screen does not get messy.

Shibumi by Trevanian is my favourite. It contains everything I like about a book -- Action, suspense, humour and a fair bit of sex.
Trevanian's 'The Loo Sanction' is a close second.

My brain was getting full of untold stories that I had imagined, so I wrote them down so I wouldn't forget them freeing up space for more dirty thoughts and memories.

Wen I have decided on a subject I just start writing in MS word 2003. When I have found a suitable place to pause, I read and make corrections as necessary, edit and rearrange until it has a good flow. Continue until the end of the story, convert the file to MOBI and put it on my Kindle.
Repeated readings putting notes onto the Kindle notepad. Back to the computer and update the book as the notes have suggested. repeat reading and modifying.
When I'm completely happy with it I give it to my wife, Mary for her to edit (she has a degree in a English literature); Upload it to Smashwords from where a limited number of trusty friends can download it with a coupon for free.
My friends may have valid criticisms which require edits in which case I will upload a new version.
