Interview with K S Nair

When did you first start writing?
I started to write since my childhood.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
It has been since Aug 2014 I started to use Smashwords. It looks promising to me and I just published one of my short stories on the site. I anticipate it will go well.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
To me, writing is a joy and sometimes a commitment. There were instances where I had given several breaks to my writing, but the creativity overfills my anxiety and I jump to write again.

I personally call my writing style as a 3 Mix. It means a mixture of characters, plot and location.
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on a detective story which is almost set to climax and I have an other Horror novel which is half way done.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend time with my family.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in India. I'm yet to find out what actually influenced me to write :)
Describe your desk
My desk should have a laptop with MS WORD configured, a good chair and table, and also as an add on I like to have music system playing to energize my thought.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I remember writing story about a village which was terrified by a snake.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read fictions.
