Interview with Michael Arrington

Published 2015-07-03.
When did you first start writing?
My first experience with "serious" writing and the publishing industry was in my junior year at North Carolina State University at Raleigh; I was a staff writer covering the faculty senate for the university newspaper "Technician."
What's the story behind your latest book?
"Entomb Tales: Essays Exposing Myth and Confusion About Death” explores the topic of death from a theological, historical, mythological, and a scientific point of view. Few people like to think about death; but my contention is that we must come to grips with death if we are to live life to its fullest. We see people living, laughing, and looking as though they don't have a care in the world. But in the book, I expose the fear and fright of death. For every person, death is only a heartbeat away; but the fear of it is hidden under the veneer of all human experiences. The book is not full of morbid details about dying. It is a lighthearted, but serious discussion about death; interspersed with humor.
