What do you read for pleasure?
I take pleasure in reading history books, psychological thrillers and select autobiographies.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My computer. Since my computer can work with Kindle and is good for PDF files, I stick with it.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
Personal selling in​ combination with social media.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in rural Jamaica. That location influenced my writing because my experiences there provided the narratives for my earlier writings...
When did you first start writing?
I started writing at about age 10. Then I wrote poems...
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is a romantic novel based on a story I have carried in my head for a long time.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
It was just too difficult to even get a reasonable discussion going with a traditional publisher.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Well I have just started on Smashwords so I am still waiting on that success. I do expect good things though.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
My greatest joy of writing is to have people read and enjoy my books... my stories.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans means a great deal to me because without them, there is hardly any reason to do this...
What are you working on next?
I am working on a marketing book for small businesses and a few novels.
Who are your favorite authors?
I do not have favourite authors, I have authors that I like. E. R. Braithwaite, D. H. Lawrence and Paul Ivey.
