When did you first start writing?
I started back in the 90's when I was driving a cab in Detroit.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
To tell you the truth I tried to get my first book published on major & minor companies with no success many years ago, but then I came across smashwords.com.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
They help reach many levels of the marketing world at that point of my life.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I get to put all of me into my books with out some one telling me that you shouldn't take this out & put that in. Which gives me the freedom to be me no matter what the cost maybe down the road.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything ok..because without them all my hard work will add up to nothing.
Who are your favorite authors?
I don't have a favorite one to say because there all so good at what they do no matter what level or years in the publishing business.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Knowing that what ever may happens during the day I'll have a new or at least the beginnings of a story by the time I get home.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working on new cartoons on my computer or doings my day job until I get to the level where I can spend all my time with a pen and paper in hand.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Through web searches for ebooks my friends tell me about, or the ones I may come across.
How do you approach cover design?
After finishing the book I look it over hoping a page or two would make a great cover....then I flip the images a round & when that don't fit what I have in mind...I cut out what I don't like & start over. Some time later I look it over once more & make 3 covers & then pick the one.
What do you read for pleasure?
how to draw & make cartoons

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
MI, it gave a small spot of freedom the real world didn't at times.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I do not sorry.
What is your writing process?
1. I record my self. 2. I write it down. 3. I spell check it. 4. I start all over until its ready to be draw on paper.

Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
cat in the hat. that story wasn't like anything I've ever read before...
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Jasper’s a house cat who work very hard over the years to keep his parties a secret from certain greedy cat called King.…that alley cat loves to party & the goal in all his nine lives is to find out what day & time Jasper party starts. King who was banned from Jasper's parties because of what happen some years ago tummy hungered, knowing this was his year. He led a growing mob of cats, stomping their way across the neighborhood looking to horribly crashed the house party.
What are you working on next?
A story about the big city...
