Who are your favorite authors?
Ted Dekker, Tosca Lee, C.S.Lewis, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I do. It was called "The Hot & Windy Day." I illustrated it and everything, but if you know me, you would know that I can't draw worth a dime. :)
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My iPad. I love iBooks and the Amazon Kindle App!
What's the story behind your latest book?
My latest book is actually my very first book and it was my brother who gave me the idea for it. I working on a different story when my brother called me and told me about this idea. In the Bible there is a Scripture in Luke 20:20 that says that the chief priests and scribes sent out spies to follow Jesus. So I took that and ran and created these two characters who go on a journey and discover their life is so much more than they thought it would ever be.
What are you working on next?
I am currently in the planning stages of my next book in "The Spies" series. It will be a continuation of my first story "And They Sent Spies," with a twist.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing as a kid. I was maybe between 5 and 7 when I first started writing. My first story, like I mentioned above, was called "The Hot and Windy Day." It was...interesting, to say the least.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
No money? ...kidding.
At this time being able to write what I want and kind of discover the kind of writer I want to be was my motivation. Maybe in the future I'll look for formal publishing, but ebooking my way seems to be working out.
