Carol Wills

My name is Carol, thank you for visiting my place on Smashwords. I am married with a grownup family and I live in Chesham with my husband amid the beautiful Chilton Hills in the UK.

I guess I've written stories throughout my life, but I've only recently had the nerve to publish some of them so, I hope you like them.

The genre I mostly write in is humour, but I do have a couple of powerful women stories on the back burner waiting for inspiration. I have a sadly neglected blog and website that I must update soon.

I have tried my hand at short stories, children's stories, flash fiction and poetry. Most of my stories are very short but I would love to write a long historical novel one day.

I have a collection of short stories on Amazon called Five Minute Fiction, a children's story 'A Titus Adventure' about a little bird that gets into a flap trying to visit his friend in hospital. And a fun guide for parents' of stroppy teenagers called Parents' Rules.

  This book is a delightful dip into the world of an accomplished writer. I was also brought as a catholic and loved the 3rd story about funerals. And don’t you just hate those school reunions? Margaret Radisich Sleasman tells it like it is, in a funny and engaging manor. Almost like a chat over the garden wall, a very enjoyable read. Carol Wills
