Gregory Sandstrom’s educational background is in three fields: sociology, economics and philosophy. The undergrad degrees were done in Canada (UBC & Laurier), the masters in the Netherlands (VU), and PhD (called Candidate of Sciences) – Sociology in Russia (SpbGU/RAS). Most recently, he completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM) in Mexico City at the Institute for Applied Mathematics and Systems (IIMAS). The major focus of his work since 2003 has been to begin over-turning evolutionary ideology in the human-social sciences, moving beyond it with human extension.
