JoAnn Williams

Biography

I grew up in Texas on the Louisiana border. The culture in my small town fluctuated from
Daughters of the American Revolution types to Duck Dynasty wannabees. My family was
South of crazy as a Betsy bug, and way East of eccentric. A huge extended family thrived and I
had connections on both sides.

Having a smart mouth comes with a dubious set of benefits and somewhere down the line I
started writing a blog "You're Not Supposed to Say That".

"Tap Dancing in a Fishnet", is a humorous memoir based on experiences growing up in the
South.

"I Said It....I'm Not Sorry" is a collection of essays about taking the fun out of Dysfunction.
