I enjoyed this. Would like to see it lengthened with more details added about the hero of the story, see more of his life.

Very nice. The author was able to fully flesh out a character and a world in just a couple of pages. WOuld like to read more of his adventures.

This story is marvelous! That said, I did have to go back and read it a second time to better understand what each specific chapter was contributing to the entire work. As a previous reviewer states, then criticises too harshly I believe (his final grade is 2 out 5, really?), is that the author shifts scenes too quickly. This is purposeful. The story is the sum of the many perspectives happening in real time and in introspective. What is not immediately apparent is that one character has two identities. Plus, characters are experiencing flashbacks and dreams brought on from head wounds, zombie venom, near asphyxiation, and even alcoholic binges. I think the author does miss early with Chapter 3, though. It should not be told from Becky's point of view. Zombie Virgil should be recalling this scene since Becky is not alive during the time frame of this story. Chapter 11 works better for Becky in this regard since Everrett seems to be dreaming about his sister near her grave. In a similar manner, Agwa recalls his sister's death after she appears in the cavern to save him. Mr. Beach did a wonderful job capturing my attention throughout. I admire the research and details that he brought into this piece. This exactness brought me in. I was able to fully connect to these characters. I look forward to more from this author. Hopefully using these same characters.

Very nice. What identifies a person most? Culture, nationalism, politics, profession, gender, religion, ethnicity, tragedy, desire, justice? Beach examines this through glimpses into the persona worn by superheroes and other, older literary characters.

I enjoyed these very much, especially the play on fairy tales.
