Aaron Kelsay
Biography
Aaron Kelsay was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Currently, he resides in inner-southeast Portland where he works for a Christian non-profit. He and his wife just recently started a family, and are excited about where God may take them. The inspiration for his writing comes from working with diametrically opposed groups of people, and in trying to bring them together in common gathering places. The language of some of his writings comes from trying to adapt new rhetoric on which to have common ground for these groups of people.
The fictional works Aaron Kelsay writes are often dark, in "epic" environments, or in apocalyptic scenarios. These fantasy works explore the occult, metaphysical and spiritual elements, and moral extremes in an interesting and deep way. The non-fiction books are aimed at a decidedly Christian audience. These works are inspired by the day to day work with the dynamically different groups of people -- the young, old, rich and poor, liberal and conservative, a myriad of sexual and cultural identities, and more. All of his writing maintains the same crisp, to-the-point style in which he communicates.
