Biography

Author, acafan, Buddhist. Angelique is owned by four cats, three adult children, two temperamental computers, and a very patient boyfriend (not a partridge in a pear tree).

A former print journalist and editor, she has over the years, written about a wide variety of topics from politics to duck breeding to rock concerts. Pansexual, pierced, painted, and proud, Angelique likes her guys in denim and lace, her gals in leather and lace, cold champagne, hot coffee, neat whiskey, loud Springsteen, and the Winchester brothers kicking butt. When she's not writing she likes to color, watch movies, and get more tattoos.

What do you write?
I write both fiction and nonfiction. A former print journalist and editor, I've written for a variety of publications and I'm currently preparing my MA thesis on "how fan produced media disrupts, informs, and influences the source text and creators of the television show Supernatural".

In terms of fiction, I write M/M romance.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
There's something magical about being able to create images with words. I love it when my favorite writers do that for me and have always wanted to do it for other people. I love it when a new character appears in my head - yes it's noisy in there - and tells me their story. Just like the reader does later, I discover the story as we go along and its a lot of fun.
