Biography
From Hamilton in Lanarkshire, Clare has a History degree from Strathclyde University and now lives in London with her husband. Having spent some time trying to find some magic in various fields, she is now concentrating on her career as a writer.
Clare was drawn to writing by her life long passion for reading and inventing stories. As a child, Clare loved nothing more than curling up on a window seat in her local library and being carried away by a magical story. A fantasy fiction fanatic, she is always working on something new. While she focuses her attention upon the ongoing development of The Staff Wielder Series, she has also written many short stories of a fantastical and ghoulish nature.
