Cindy Blevins
Biography
Cindy Blevins lives in Western Colorado with her husband Dwight and various pets, including Heather, the stray who came to stay. She is an animal lover, photographer and nature lover.
By profession, she is a composer and music teacher. She writes and records music for harp, piano, clarinet, Native American flute, and many different ensembles. Under the name Cindy Kleinstuber Blevins she has written over 150 books of music and learning materials for those instruments. She teaches harp, piano and clarinet. With her husband, she owns and runs Blevins Instruments, Inc., a company which hand-crafts fine lever harps. Blevins harps are known and loved worldwide. At blevinsharps.com you will see photos and hear sound clips of their approximately 90 harp models. There is also a vast informational area, as well as pricing and information about each model.
Cindy is the music half of a song-writing team with Denise Baxter-Yoder of North Carolina. You can hear their songs at mistymorningmusic.com.
Her interests are many and varied. She loves to bake and cook from scratch. She blogs about cooking with electric pressure cookers. You can read more at:

She would rather be outside than inside. With not much spare time and (being self-employed) no paid vacation days, she and her husband daytrip in their RV van. There is so much beauty in their area; it is a never-ending source for new nature photographs, videos, and music ideas.
She enjoys producing her YouTube videos, which are mostly music-oriented. Using her own original music, arrangements and instruments, she adds her digital animation clips, photos and video clips to create her videos. Her YouTube channel currently contains over 100 videos.
Cindy does not consider herself to be a poet. However, she loves to play with words and enjoys writing limericks and short poems, including those within this book.
