Michael Alden
Biography
Michael Alden has been creating stories, poetry, art and comics nearly all his life. Born in 1996, his parents remember him spending childhood moments talking about faraway places, imaginary people and intricate storylines. As he developed educationally, he began drawing and writing comics, which led to experiments in poetry. At fifteen, Michael took first prize in a poetry contest and decided to try his hand at prose. Michael finds inspiration in dreams, the encouragement of cherished friends and teachers, and his interest in science, anime and manga, and history.
