Owen Jappen

Owen Jappen completed his Bachelor's and Master's of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2013. Michael Pecoraro completed his Bachelor's of the Arts in Environmental Sciences in May 2013, and is currently attending Queens College in the Environmental Geosciences graduate program. Jappen and Pecoraro grew up in Levittown, New York sharing classes as early as Pre-K. The two composed "Once Upon a Time, Relative To the Observer" while home during concurrent academic breaks from college. Upon completion fellow Levittown peer and friend, Ariana Lenox was enlisted to illustrate the stories which were then digitized and colored by Joshua Hixson.

The group hopes that this interdisciplinary project will be attractive to a wide range of interests and serve as a reminder of the commonality of areas of study and the strength of enduring friendship.
