Richmond Camero
Biography
Richmond Camero was born and raised in the Philippines. His fondness with words and the English language started with the book Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone sent by his aunt. Countless books came after that and it was only a matter of time before he took out his pen and started writing stories of his own. His first story was about knights and was published in his high school newspaper. He knew back then that his calling was to be a writer.
But college came and he realized that pursuing a writing career was impractical. So he took up a course involving his other interest: computers. After graduating with a B.S. Computer Science degree, he entered the corporate world as a software programmer and hid his writer dreams inside the closet. It took him several years to answer to the Muses and embrace the life of a writer again after seeing his songwriter cousin pursue her own passion.
He is now a storyteller and creator of worlds. He writes about humans turning to half-beasts, bounty hunters with robotic arm, and the occasional hopeless romantics. When not writing, he likes to exercise his creative mind through reading books, playing the guitar, visiting other worlds through video games and exploring the Forbidden Desert, among other tabletop games.
