I'm new to this ebook thing, so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I heard about Toby & Harry, I knew it was time to give it a try. Not every writer can master the short story, but Joan Young did a great job in fleshing out the characters and rounding out the plot. And as for Toby? Well, let's just say I can relate to his poor mother. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

Not very often can a new writer come blasting out of the gate with such a smooth, rhythmic pace. Anthony Prescott is one who did and he will be one whose work I'll keep an eye out for. Well done!

Wonderfully well written! "Unlike some mysteries which make the mistake of introducing the most pertinent evidence too late in the story (which is to say, only when the sleuth is disclosing whodunnit, how and why) Young carefully plants the clues along the way." Another great story from Joan Young! I swear, it's like she ripped her characters right out of my small town childhood. As another reviewer wrote, this is a perfect quick read, and I'm really looking forward to more in the series. Way to go, Joan!
