Sally J. Ling

Biography

I am known as Florida's History Detective and am the author of eight fiction and non-fiction books, mostly regarding the South Florida area.

My most recent books are: "Sailin' on the Stranahan," a coffee table book commissioned by the Lauderdale Yacht Club to commemorate its 75th anniversary, "The Cloak," the first in a series of biblical mysteries, and "Out of Mind, Out of Sight: The Revealing History of the Florida State Hospital at Chattahoochee and Mental Health Care in Florida."

I'm working on "The Spear of Destiny," a sequel to "The Cloak," and "Who Killed Leno and Louise?" historical fiction based upon the true story of a 1948 double homicide in Boca Raton, Florida, that has never been solved.
