Sam Faulkner


Sam (John Samuel) Faulkner was born in Memphis Tennessee. He obtained B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics from Auburn University. He was awarded a Ph.D. in physics by The Ohio State University. He has published over 85 research papers in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics. He wrote one book and edited another in the same field. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is profiled in Who's Who in America, and is a Professor of Physics at Florida Atlantic University. He is married with 2 children.
