Biography
Hi and thanks for the visit here:
I have been writing fiction all of my adult life, but only sporadically. Retiring from writing software for a living since forever...well it seemed like forever...I am now excited and pleased to have had the time to create, so far, two books in a planned series of sword and sorcery novels. They are 'First Journey' and 'Blood and Treasure', of 'The Seven Cities Series'.
Always drawn to coming-of-age stories, these books follow the path of a young man discovering himself, his world and his powers, as he journeys around the area named The Seven Cities.
As of fall 2013, I'm starting on the third book, appreciating the freedom to do so, and kissing my wife good-bye in the morning to continue her own weekly commute and career schedule. We try to stay in contact with two busy sons at big Universities, and are grateful for Skype and text messaging since phone calls seem impractical now.
We live in a great town in California with lots of trees. I walk about 4 miles a day, and bike out on the river parkway anywhere from 15 to 40 miles a few times a week, weather permitting. I read sci-fi and fantasy avidly, and play online games way more than I should.
