Typecast considers the publication of a book a fantastic event to be celebrated, and the role of publisher most sacred. Like artisan framemakers, a publisher’s job is to encase works of literature with purpose and care of the utmost kind––establishing a space where the work shines. We consider every option available to print, from old-school letterpress to digital; all are tools for bringing readers to books. And, because every publication is different, we believe each deserves its own set of rules.
