A Pirate's Legacy

David Dolephene is the last direct descendant of Francois Evreux, landowner and governor of El Hierro Island 400 years ago who also happened to be the infamous pirate, Dolphin. David inherits the property, but also the back taxes and an arch enemy bent of ending the Evreux line. With the twins, Alejandro and Concepcion, they search for hidden treasure to pay the taxes and a way to stay alive.

Francois is orphaned as a small child and forced to exist on the streets of 16th Century Saint-Nazaire, France until rescued by an old seaman who takes him aboard his ship where he learns the trade of piracy. When his ship is sunk with all hands in the Canary Islands, he is saved from drowning by dolphins who carry him to the island of El Hierro beginning an incredible journey to fame and fortune.

Hassan is an Arab boy adopted by an old pirate, but when he dies, Hassan comes to live with Francois and his family. However, there is something mysterious about his early childhood and a reason he should never leave El Hierro. That is not an option when he is kidnapped and taken to an Arabian Sheik to be killed. Francois, Capt. Santana, and Hassan's friend, Filipe rush to the rescue.

David Dolphene has adopted his real family name, Evreux, and become a Ph.D. Archaeologist. Reunited with Concepción and Alejandro they seek to recover a Spanish treasure ship sunk off the coast of Cuba during one of his pirate ancestor's attacks. It is not something the Cuban government or the Boggues cartel wants happen. What he discovers under water and on land sends him reeling in disbelief.

In book six of A Pirate's Legacy, the Dolphin rejoins Hogshead Shaver to free the old pirate's family kidnapped by Lord Chudleigh. To complicate matters, the Dolphin's son sneaks aboard ship to prove he is no longer a child. Adventure, death, and secrets are aboard the Raven as they sail through the Caribbean as the Dolphin must find a way to free the hostages and keep his son alive.

Concepcion is kidnapped by the Italian mafia and held for ransom. Frustrated that no one is moving fast enough, David and Alejandro set off to rescue their sister. Armed with secret information, getting into the stronghold is relatively easy. Getting out alive is a different matter.
