The Nines are a new unit in British intelligence. They have been formed specifically to deal with the more unusual types of threats that face the modern world as we enter the third decade of the new millennium. Hijacking democracy , pandemic viruses , theft in cyberspace and more. Each member has been specially selected for their individual skills but there is another recurring theme in the recruitment process. All six have exceptionally high IQ's ranking them in the top ninety ninth percentile of the general population.They are unarmed and defuse situations with a mix of intellect and humour. Always more effective than guns and bullets. And much more entertaining.
