A really great historical series and very hard to put down. The hardships and challenges of this period, for women in particular, makes me feel very lucky to be alive in the 21st century.

Okay, now I am hopelessly hooked on this series. What is going to happen to Amy and Lizzie next? I love the way the series goes along, giving a glimpse of their lives without being slow or predictable. GREAT books!

This is one of the most mind grabbing series that I have read in a long time. I got the first book, "Sentence of Marriage" as a free book and then went on to purchase the next three books. WONDERFUL BOOKS.

I just finished the three follow ups on Sentence of Marriage, the live of Amy and Lizzie gripping. I have cried and laughed with each character and loved Frank and Dave.
Sarah is impressive a woman who knew what she wants and goes for it, she is a wonderful daughter to Amy. Beth in her own right is a strong woman understanding David and helps him to cope with the struggles within. her patience and love for him endearing and truthful.

Hope this is not where the stories ends.
