This is a wonderful book, and could not have come at a better time, as I will be visiting the Grand Tetons next month. Jeff Clow is a gifted photographer, with a visionary eye for detail and beauty. He generously reveals his special "Secret Places" to get that perfect shot. Not only does he tell you where to go, but at what time and in what order! Every road, every turn, every spot to stand in, is described in easy-to-understand detail. Nothing could be more helpful for a photographer who wishes to maximize the best light and most effectively utilize their time there. There is more to taking a "wow" photo than just going to a beautiful place. It's being in the right place at the right time, and this book tells you how.

Jeff's photography attracted my attention on Flickr some time back and now I'm hooked on his work. He's an extremely talented and knowledgeable photographer who has now taken his talents to a whole new level by producing this book.

When I started reading the first pages of the first chapter and came to the end of what I would be allowed to read without purchasing the book, it was a no brainer for me. I bought the book.

It is a wealth of information based on Jeff's extensive knowledge of Grand Teton National Park, his many hours spent exploring and photographing its plethora of stunning vistas. Through this book, Jeff has opened up for his readers the secrets to finding and photographing the best places. And he is generous with his advice on how to maximize your experience in the Tetons.

This book will definitely be top shelf for me because someday, I will go to photograph the Tetons and Jeff's book will be going with me. I highly recommend this book to anyone even remotely planning a trip to this beautiful area of our world or to anyone who just enjoys good writing paired with beautiful photographs. Thanks Jeff, for a great book.

I have followed Jeff on flickr for a number of years and been impressed with the excellence of his work and his supportive comments on my postings - not something that you necessarily expect as an amateur. When I saw his e-book I immediately bought it. I have always admired Jeff's pictures from the Grand Teton's. What I found as I walked through the book was a master journey in photography. It was as if I was on a field trip with the expert sharing with me alone, all of his trade secrets to make a grand composition. I started to think about when I would make a trip to the area. Then I realized that I could apply his teachings where I am. So all of you photographers get the book whether your are going there or not - it is an inspired piece of work sharing all the tips of the trade written in a straight forward manner. You will read and see the book like a novel and you will be much the better for having taken the time to make the E-Book journey. Finally you will have a wonderful reference text for you next shoot shown in pictures, composition, settings and wise words. Thanks so much Jeff, for sharing in such a forthright manner. For all Teton lovers and serious photographers this is a must read. If you want more than the common and usual images of these special peaks, lakes and area, then nevermind. Stop and take a shot where all the cars are parked. But if you're looking to break away from the herd and capture some unique, special and unforgettable images from this magnificent Park, then I highly recommend this book.

Jeff is known and is highly regarded as one of America's finest photographers. Some may not know though that Jeff is also an experienced and well-respected writer, whose photojournalism is first class. Following along thru the pages of this book is like being there enjoying the sights with your best friend. Jeff's love and knowledge of this spectacular region comes across clearly and warmly in his descriptions, tips and recommendations. Jeff also provides gorgeous images throughout the book to demonstrate the types of stunning images the reader can hope to emulate and capture for themselves.
If you have a trip to the Tetons in your future this is a must-have guide to get the most of your visit.

I'm hoping Jeff will also write eBooks on the fabulous Banff/Jasper, Yellowstone and Glacier National Park, which he also knows so well.

Thanks Jeff for this gem of a Teton guide. A+ works! I'm mighty pleased to have it with me on my next visit there.
