Describe your desk
I move around the house bring my laptop with me. Sometimes I'm in bed, sometimes the sofa, sometimes a chair; basically anywhere comfortable enough to write.
When did you first start writing?
I got my first diary in elementary school and never stopped writing.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It is just that, pure joy.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Tending to my home and family or spending time in nature.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Recently I was cleaning out my house and I found the first story I ever wrote (written in elementary school). I put it somewhere safe and now I can't find it. Figures.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I ask myself, "What will make today great?" the answer rarely includes staying in bed.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I think that the first story was "The Little Red Hen" I admired the independent thinking and work ethic of the Hen.
