What are your five favorite books, and why?
Of course, my favorite are cookbooks or any book with food as the topic. Why? Because I am obsessed with cooking, eating, and discovering foods from all around the world. It's a passion I discovered when only a few years old and it has remained with me my whole life and has been passed on to my 2 young daughters.
What do you read for pleasure?
Even for pleasure, I enjoy reading books to help build my business or improve my cooking skills. I even study nutrition so I can be more informative to my own readers.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love to read on my phone though, I own over 600 cookbooks so this is a more enjoyable option but still, not as convenient as reading on my mobile.
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I try to maintain a good social media presence and blogging works well for me too.

A mess :-)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in central Scotland and this may have affected my writing by encouraging me to travel and discover new places and fall in love with their recipes. The Scottish diet never really excited me at all, not to mention the rain.
