Interview with Jerry Seaman, Jr

Published 2022-05-31.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in my teens in the early 1990s. As life went on, school, college, and working full time, I stopped writing poetry. Then in 2009, I asked God if He would let me start writing poetry again. He granted my wish! Since December 2009, God has inspired me to write over 1200 poems!
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I wanted to share the gift that God has given me with the world! I want God to use these poems He has given me to bless and minister to other people!
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The whole creation process is a joy to me! I feel closest to Jesus when i write!
What do your fans mean to you?
I am so grateful to everyone who purchases my e-books and who reads my poetry!
What are you working on next?
Since 2012, I have written 10 more poetry journals and am working on my 12th poetry journal! I have started a Patreon channel for people to subscribe. I hope to one day publish another e-book and to hook up with a trustworthy and honest person to become a songwriting team!
Who are your favorite authors?
Tim Lahaye/Jerry Jenkins, Catherine Marshall, Andrew Farley, and Charles Stanley
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work full time (40 hours per week) for a call center for a pharmacy benefit manager. I assist patients with pharmacy benefit questions, rejected claims at retail and with home delivery of their medications. I have been doing that for almost 10 years. When I am not working, I hang out with my family and spend time online (Facebook, YouTube, etc...). I also write poetry on a regular basis.
