Interview with Pablo H. Solutin

Published 2018-05-18.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the Philippines, the only Christian Nation in Southeast Asia. I was born and baptized as a Roman Catholic but was exposed to other religious sects too. That exposure led me to reexamine the practices of the Roman Catholic religion and compare them to those written in the Bible. That comparison inclined me to write about what I have learned.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing poems when I was in college. The first was: "My Lost Doubt" and followed by "Emmanuel" published in a National magazine in the Philippines. During that time I was also composing songs based on the verses I write. My first attempt in writing book was: "We Are Gods: Jesus Said So" in 2007.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind my latest book: "Subtle Annihilation: How To Survive The Ongoing Genocide" is my realization that we are being annihilated without our consciously knowing about it. We are made to believe that death is natural and worst we are made to believe that death is the will of God. This mindset, by the power of our mind and emotion, lead us to sickness, aging and death.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Being an indie author gives me full freedom and control over what I want to write, and gives me a quicker way to make my book available to those I want to reach.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy of writing for me is to see my book available in print and digitally online.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean so much to me second to God. My writings are dedicated to my God and my fans.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
It is the knowing that my life, my day, and everything I need comes from my God, and that I must make this life worthy to His site as much as I can.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work as a part time sales clerk, sleeping, praying and fasting.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
My favorites are : 1) Bible, 2) I Am Joes Body, 3) Reincarnation, 4) Supernutrition, 5) The Greatest Miracle in the World, because they make me understand who I am.

There is a river of living water that flows from the Father in heaven through His Son, our beloved Savior. This living water raises us from the dust and makes us alive. The enemy of life, however, has dropped bits of poison that make us love death more than God. We think we sincerely love God. We do not know how sincerely wrong we are. When the reader recognizes the miracle that is him or her, the power that resides within undergoes a reorientation. A reorientation that is aligned with the source—God. That is the principal purpose of this book. To show how the power within us can be used to write a new story. The story of making the will of God on earth as it is in heaven.
