Trying to build my bartender business and gain bartending events. Also creating handmade jewelry.

What is your writing process?
At times when I am in solitude, I write down what I am thinking, as soon as the thought comes, then the thought start flowing.

Nikki Giovanni- EGO Tripping, it was just profound
How do you approach cover design?
By the title of the book Blackness in shadows
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Black Feeling, Black Talk/Black Judgement (1970) by Nikki Giovanni- It is just empowering
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings-By Maya Angelou- Heart felt inspiring story

My laptop on a table and my pen and paper in my bag, for spontaneous thoughts
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Grew up in Washington, DC and Columbia, MD and nothing there really influenced me, it was all just a combination of experiences.
When did you first start writing?
In 1975
What's the story behind your latest book?
Just a combination of personal experiences and life experiences that I have seen and felt.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Wanted to be free to express and share with a wide variety of people and audiences.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
I don't know yet, we will see.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Letting it out and knowing that I enjoy my own writing
What do your fans mean to you?
When I get some then I will let you know, but I do know that they will mean a lot to me
What are you working on next?
Another collection of poetry based on inner demons and thoughts, and trying to write a book, already have a title for it, it will be called I Can't Make You Love Me..
