James Matheson
Biography
James Matheson was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1961. Jim went to school in Staten Island, NY where he completed his primary education and earned a BA in Economics. Jim currently lives in New Jersey. In his free time Jim enjoys reading history, visiting historical sites, writing and playing the bagpipes.
Jim has completed his second in a series of historical adventure books. The series chronicles the life of Angus MacDonald. The second book finds Angus in Liverpool and Jamaica during 1850-51, and provides an adventure filled glimpse into world prior to the American Civil War. This book is currently only available on Amazon's pre-sale, but is expected to be released on April 21 if not prior.
Jim uses his love of history to place his characters into historically significant settings. He hopes that his readers will enjoy his stories as much as he has enjoyed creating them
