Biography

Born in Germany, but currently living in Maryland, Dr. Hayes (formerly Wofford) is an author, consultant, entrepreneur, educator, mother, and wife. She loves to consult, educate, and inspire others for social change. Dr. Hayes speaks English and Spanish and loves to travel.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. My writing was actually influenced by being the youngest child in the household. My sister is seven years older than me, so we really were not on the same playing/development level. So, I was isolated a lot in the home which triggered me to write more.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in the first grade. My mom has so many poems from my childhood.
