Biography

The objective of my work is to inspire individuals to make a positive change in their lives. I teach them skills and strategies to free themselves from barriers that keep them stuck and block them from success with themselves, relationships and business. Along with 40 years of working in inpatient hospital setting combined with 7 years in private practice as a certified master life coach, certified holistic addiction recovery coach and certification in subconscious rapid transformational coaching I have accumulated a knowledge base and many methods to help survivors to understand how abuse, trauma and combat have changed them mental, physically, emotional and spiritually. I wrote Separated From the Light: A Path Back from Psychological Trauma to pass on my knowledge and understanding not only as a professional over 40 years of experience but also as a survivor who has lived through abuse and trauma myself. I believe that the aftereffects of experiencing overwhelming and life threatening situations are natural and normal and not pathological. To heal a survivor need to change their mindset. Separated From the Light I hope is a vehicle to help survivors accomplish a positive mindset shift.
Separated from the Light presents two views of the mental, physical, emotional and/or spiritual aftereffects of experiencing traumatic situations: 1) the survivor’s perspective, 2) the educational view of the mechanics involved in human symbolic unfolding process to survive. The book was written for survivors to understand what has gone on inside themselves and family members to have compassion for plight of survivors.
Recovery is possible.
