Edward Taylor

Biography

I grew up watching and reading science fiction, fantasy and anime/manga. It has heavily influenced my stories and the writing itself.

I was also a HUGE fan of table top roleplaying. I loved every aspect of it. As a player, I loved crafting everything about my character: from the backstory to character quirks. It was so much fun to be able to roleplay my characters and put myself in the shoes of someone that was completely different than me. As a DM, I had so much fun building worlds and planning campaigns. It was also a thrill to come up with stuff on the fly when the campaign went in a direction that I either hadn't thought of or hadn't planned for yet. I honestly can't say which I enjoyed more because both were great fun.

I had talents in writing and drawing at a young age, but life took over and the drawing sat on the backburner, but I continued to write. While I love to write standard fiction, erotica holds a special place in my heart. I absolutely love to think of ways to incorporate erotic elements into a story to make it really come alive.

Smashwords Interview

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Writing allows me to explore characters and places that I never would have been able to experience before. I can look through the eyes of someone vastly different than myself, thus exploring how they would experience life under specific circumstances. The places and worlds that I write about are often very different than that of Earth, so I can live and explore different ideas when building my worlds and see how they interact with each other and the characters.
