I have been involved in the veterinary profession in some capacity since I was fifteen. I first started rudimentary cartooning since 1988 and continued improving all through veterinary school, having survived and graduated in 1993 from UCDavis. People have said that I am funny (sometimes intentionally) and I have a website that says so, therefore it must be true. My goal has always been to offer up things that allow people a little escape from the outside world, a little haven of sanity. I try to not take anything too seriously and hope to give you a unique and humorous perspective through this medium. Enjoy!
This book tells the story about the close friendship of Heather and Sandy, a girl and her dog. The Human-Animal Bond is shown and how we have a mutually beneficial relationship with animals. It also shows how differently animals are viewed between the human medical side and the veterinary side when it comes to illness.
