Miranda Rijks

Thank you for visiting my Amazon author page. I live in West Sussex, England, with my husband, our musician daughter and black Labrador. ‘The Obituary’ is my first psychological thriller. The next two books in a new psychological thriller series will be published early in 2019. They feature Dr Pippa Durrant, a psychologist and specialist in lie detection, who works alongside Sussex police getting embroiled in some scary stuff!
After a degree in Law, I worked in marketing in London and Eastern Europe. I then set up and sold businesses in the horticultural, leisure and retail sectors. Along the way, I got a masters in writing and wrote the self-help book, ‘How Compatible Are You?’ and biography, ‘The Eccentric Entrepreneur’. In 2018, I wrote ‘Don’t Call Me Brave’, a novel very loosely drawing upon my experiences of having a rare bone cancer.
I am extremely lucky to be living the dream, writing psychological thrillers full time! I love connecting with my readers, so please reach out to me at www.mirandarijks.com
